【当教会の湯浅牧師によるGonnerman宣教師の紹介】

　アンドリュー･ガナマン宣教師をご紹介させていただきます。

ガナマン師は、バプテスト･ミド･ミッションズ（Baptist Mid-Missions、本部アメリカ･オハイオ州）所属宣教師として、2018年5月に来日されました。

現在、めぐみバプテスト教会に集い、夫人と共に、日本語習得に専念されています。

ご夫妻の願いは、私たち日本人にイエス･キリストの福音（ふくいん）を伝え、聖書的な教会を設立することです。

長期宣教が難しいと言われる日本の社会･文化に、お二人は大変賢く順応され、今後の宣教活動に大きな期待が寄せられています。ご家族は、ジャネー夫人との間に、3人のお子さんがおられます。

【Andrew Gonnerman Missionary Itinerary】

Andrew grew up in a Christian home in America. As a child, Andrew learned who God is and how Jesus’ death and resurrection affected his life. Jesus’ death offered the gift of forgiveness from God. 

During high school, Andrew chose to study Japanese. He then wanted to visit Japan. During college and seminary, he visited Japan twice. He fell in love with the country and the people. He also met Janae at college, where she studied to be an English teacher. They got married in 2012. 

In 2013, they moved to Iwatsuki city, Saitama prefecture to help Baptist Mid-Missions missionaries with English 

classes at a church. They lived there for 12 months. That experience made them want to return to Japan. They want Japanesw people to know who God is and what He has done for them. 

In May 2018, Andrew and his family arrived in Tama city, Japan. They are studying Japanese and serving together with Megumi Baptist Church. They have three children, Jonah (March 2015), Aila (May 2017), and Josiah 

(May 2021)
